The Director General & Prim Minister is IN

My schedule in Second Life has not been "slow" for at least a year and a half now. However, adding "Estate Owner" to my list of already time consuming roles has pushed me into Desmond Shang "Gah IM Storm!" territory.

Therefore I have created a much more detailed and specific schedule for myself. One of the new developments from this schedule is: Open Office Hours. I now have specific times blocked off during the week for Radio Riel and for the Estates. If you would like to talk about things..ideas...statuses...these are the times to come do it!

All times are Second Life Time (SLT), which is also North American Pacific Standard Time

Radio Riel
12:00pm - 2:00pm SLT

7:00pm - 9:00pm SLT

Radio Riel Headquarters in Edison Hypatia

Edison and New Toulouse
7:00pm - 9:00pm SLT

Azul & Gabi's House in Edison Hypatia

11:00am - 1:00pm SLT

Songs from the Nightingale

Today on Radio Riel, I am featuring "music that I love". You will hear a variety of styles, genres and artists...all specifically selected and playlisted by me. Please enjoy the music that I love, as I celebrate my personal milestone of turning 40 in the actual world. Click here to launch your media player and tune in!

Thank you dear friends, for making my dreams come true at 40.

My Song to Say I Am Sorry

There's one sad truth in life I've found
While journeying east and west -
The only folks we really wound
Are those we love the best.
We flatter those we scarcely know,
We please the fleeting guest,
And deal full many a thoughtless blow
To those who love us best.

Ella Wheeler Wilcox

Perfect Song

Last night, in a fit of Emo, I dropped by Club Gears in Steelhead to hear some serious LOUD from Lady Whoopass.

Dia played the *perfect* song for me..."Perfect Strangers" by Deep Purple. Thank you Dia! ;-)

Can you remember, remember my name
As I flow through your life
A thousand oceans I have flown
And cold spirits of ice
All my life
I am the echo of your past

I am returning the echo of a point in time
Distant faces shine
A thousand warriors I have known
And laughing as the spirits appear
All your life
Shadows of another day

And if you hear me talking on the wind
Youve got to understand
We must remain
Perfect strangers

I know I must remain inside this silent well of sorrow

A strand of silver hanging through the sky
Touching more than you see
The voice of ages in your mind
Is aching with the dead of the night
Precious life (your tears are lost in
Falling rain)

And if you hear me talking on the wind
Youve got to understand
We must remain
Perfect strangers

The Day of Reckoning

When We Two Parted

When we two parted
In silence and tears,
Half broken-hearted
To sever for years,
Pale grew thy cheek and cold,
Colder thy kiss;
Truly that hour foretold
Sorrow to this.

The dew of the morning
Sunk chill on my brow—
It felt like the warning
Of what I feel now.
Thy vows are all broken,
And light is thy fame:
I hear thy name spoken,
And share in its shame.

They name thee before me,
A knell to mine ear;
A shudder comes o'er me—
Why wert thou so dear?
They know not I knew thee,
Who knew thee too well:
Long, long shall I rue thee,
Too deeply to tell.

In secret we met —
In silence I grieve,
That thy heart could forget,
Thy spirit deceive.
If I should meet thee
After long years,
How should I greet thee?
With silence and tears.

George Gordon Byron, Lord Byron. 1788–1824

Radio Riel - New Toulouse is Now On Air!

I am pleased to announce that "Radio Riel - New Toulouse" is now on air! I have added a third stream to the Radio Riel lineup that plays nothing but Early Jazz, popular hits from 1900-1930, Ragtime and Early Blues 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!

I will be adding Cajun and Zydeco to the mix soon. You can listen to RR NT by setting in your land or opening it in a media player. And in the near future (when GoDaddy moves on it) you will be able to access the stream at . Enjoy!
